My looooooooooong trip to WIS-CON-SIN.

I was in Wisconsin for a week with extended family. Here's the schedule for my rather odd stupid fun oddly stupid and fun week.

Saturday: I got there, had appetizers for dinner.

Sunday: Got a normal boat, and my rather (cough cough) odd Uncle Jeff got a speed boat. My cousin Grace and I (Grace is Jeff's daughter) went Inner-tubing on this, and I tipped upside-down and still hung on! (Hold your applause) Then Jeff, who, (trust me) CANNOT DRIVE, noticed about 10 minutes AFTER that I was upside-down, and finally stopped. Or, it felt like 10 minutes.

Monday: Boated in the morning and then went hiking in the afternoon. We went to Watersmeet, Michigan, HOME OF THE NIMRODS! Yep. The Nimrods. We soon found out why. After seeing some BEAUTIFUL waterfalls, we went on a picnic (My cousin Samantha was sick, so her family stayed) with Uncle Jeff, Aunt Pam, Grace, Laura, Jen (I'm listing these by family, K?) Uncle Rick Aunt Sherry (Aka  Uncle Ricardo, as we sometimes call my uncle) Me, My family, Grandma, and Grandpa (or Grandpapa). Then we went to find the place with the Palding light (after one tiny story I will tell the nimrods part). My mom got lost, NO THANKS TO LACK OF INTERNET AND WIFI, and we saw ravens, so my Aunt Sherry started quoting  Edgar Allen Poe (Yep, she rocks) and so did my brother. Well, sorta. We were all so loopy that my brother said "Quote the raisin, never more" Instead of "Quote the raven, never more" We FINALLY got there, two hours before the light was supposed to come, I might add. We saw a beaver house, (I really think I shouldn't say the other word) and I came up with a complex scheme about the government and beavers. Then more people showed up, and more, and more, and more. And so, the Palding Light is totally fake, as we waited TWO HOURS and saw cars, with out sitting down. Sherry got in an argument with one guy that they were cars, (and yes, they were, she had binoculars) we left then.

Tuesday: Boating and Inner-tubing. And then...TACO TUESDAY! We ate tacos (No Duh, self) and my cousin Grace and I, (We're great friends) were on clean-up. So, this question I ask you: How did two of the youngest get put on the hardest clean-up job?

Wednesday: I really have NO idea...I think we had a sponge relay...

Thursday: Um...Boating???? Oh yeah, Jeff flipped me in the inner-tube...4 TIMES. Not fun. And all of us children made dinner. Grace and I made fruit salad.

Friday: We inner-tubed, then Uncle J, Aunt P, Grace, Laura, and Jen left along with Samantha and Family. Oh yeah, we went go-karting.

Saturday: I left...and came home, and started writing this.

Blurb to Self, Sky, and any Idiots (That's you) Who'll listen

The Sky is so pretty today. No clouds. But when it's not windy or thunderstorm/ tornado-y, It's boiling hot, with the most beautiful sky ever. That's just during the summer. But the point is, when we're not facing water or death threat weather, Oak Park has my kind of sky. I stare at the sky a lot. Now, while I write my blurb at 6:43 AM, Thursday, June 24th, 2010, I realize...My dog is fat. And I am tired.

Blurbingly,
Audra

Musing...

Listening to Muse again. Thinking is hard, because I always put myself somewhere else, and I come back dissapointed.
Glaciers melting in the dead of night...

Muse-y, Audra...
